Debbie married her high school sweetheart, John, 42 years ago. They have 2 children and 5 grandchildren. After owning their own cattle marketing service for 18 years, the Lord called them into full-time ministry. For the past 3 ½ years, Debbie & John have served as Senior Adult Directors at Central Baptist Church, where they’ve been members for 18 years.
Peggy has been married for 38 years to Central’s Senior Pastor, Chris Osborne. She worked in the field of education for over thirty years and now works alongside her daughter as a consultant and workshop leader in school districts, Head Start agencies, childcare training groups and churches. Peggy also loves teaching Biblical principles in church and retreat settings. She is thrilled that God has given her these opportunities, but her favorite roles in life are as wife, mom to her two children (and sweet daughter-in-law) and Honey to her three grandchildren.
Are you feeling lost? Perhaps you have gotten turned around by your surroundings and are experiencing a bit of confusion? Maybe the way that you have been going has become unclear, a bit hazy, and you need a new path. Often times in moments like these, fear, doubt, and uncertainty flood our thoughts and we find it hard to navigate through life. However, we have a God who is our Guide; He has gone before us, set the way for us, and we can accept His hand by faith and let Him lead us. Be comforted, a Guiding Light is on the horizon.
Magan is an elementary school counselor, enjoys traveling, and loves to share experiences from her family of God’s faithfulness. Her desire is to encourage others to love God and to make Him known.
Do you find yourself anxious as you watch your children grow up and start making decisions on their own? Do you become panicked and fearful as you watch them deal with adult problems and trials? We will discuss ways to keep panic at bay so we can walk in the Spirit as we let go of our children. We will see what God’s Word has to say about the fears we face with our children in this stage of life.
Suzanne has been blessed to be married to Randy for 30 years this coming May. She was a stay-at-home mother to their four children, now ages 28, 26, 24, and 22. Two are married, two are single, and they live all over the country. Suzanne and her husband have taught 11th grade Sunday School for 25 years at Central Baptist Church. God has been busy teaching Suzanne many things throughout the years and most recently how to be a mother to grown children.
Sarah Darby was born and raised in Mansfield, Texas. A Mansfield High School graduate, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 2002 to attend Belmont University. After graduating from Belmont’s prestigious School of Music, Sarah spent time working in and around the music industry in Nashville. She gained valuable experience as a worship leader, performer and studio singer and was privileged to work with some of the best in the industry.
Though she enjoys performing for special events and concerts, her passion and heartbeat is for worship in the local church and for Sarah, there is nothing sweeter than leading people into the presence of God. She currently leads worship at First Baptist in Euless and loves serving her church family in that role. Sarah also has a voice & music studio in the DFW area where she coaches aspiring singers.
Outside of work and ministry, Sarah loves to spend time with her new husband and wonderful family, go to concerts and musicals, shop for great shoes, and eat lots of chocolate.
